     Welcome to My Visual Arts Tenure website! Striving to be a highly effective middle school art teacher, I am committed to helping my students develop their creativity, technical skills, and self-expression through a variety of art mediums and techniques. 

     I do my best to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters exploration and experimentation, while also emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. By developing a trusting relationship with each student and understanding their individual lives, I encourage them to take creative risks in my class without fear. My goal is to inspire students to appreciate art as a means of cultural expression and communication. I firmly believe that students will feel safe to express themselves when they trust their teacher.
